Travel and Covid in Armenia

Read here the latest travel advice about travel and corona, travel restrictions, an entry ban and quarantine measures in Armenia.
Armenia has also been affected by the corona virus. In May, the daily number of new infections increased sharply, peaking at the end of June. In July and August, the number of new infections every day gradually decreased.

Due to the declining number of infections, the state of emergency, already announced in March, ended on 11 September 2020. Restrictions do continue to apply. Borders remain closed (except residents with residency status, diplomats, international organizations, family members and citizens of Armenia). Upon arrival, a 14-day quarantine is mandatory and one is tested. Meetings and strikes may again take place for up to 40 people; One must observe the COVID-19 rules (keep your distance, wear mouth masks, do not shake hands, stay home sick).

Current situation in Armenia during Covid Times

News from Armenia
Public life has now started up again. Cafes, restaurants, childcare, shopping centers, shops and many offices and factories have reopened. Schools and universities are still closed. Restrictions apply and the wearing of masks is mandatory in public areas. Anyone who does not comply with the rules will be severely punished with heavy fines.

Below is a representation of the current situation according to our latest reports:

- Flights at the time of Corona
There is only limited air traffic to and from Armenia. Belavia has operated several flights from Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk. Air France has planned a few flights Paris-Yerevan. Last-minute changes cannot be ruled out. A Corona test is required upon arrival at the airport. If the test is positive, you should be quarantined for 14 days.
