From the Caspian to the Black Sea
This Azerbaijan and Georgia Tour brings you coast to coast; from the booming oil town of Baku to the beach resort of Batumi. Visit modern day Azerbaijan which is doing well with all the money from it's oil and gas reserves coming in. But still you can wander in the old historical part of Baku, or sleep in an ancient caravanserai in Sheki.In Georgia you will visit the wine region of Kakheti with it's monasteries, castles, churches, vineyards and wine-cellars. From here you continue to one of the most remote valley's in the Caucasus mountains; Tusheti, only possible to visit in summer months. Stone villages and high watch towers dominate the green valley's of Tusheti.
You continue your journey to the capital of Tbilisi, the birth place of Stalin in Gori, the ancient cave city of Uplistikhe, the cathedrales of Kutaisi, before reaching the blue water of the Black Sea near Batumi, the end of your journey.
